Since its formation in 1997, the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ (ÐÓ°É´«Ã½) Foundation has been committed to building pathways for ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ students to fulfill their dreams. The ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Foundation raises funds and allocates critical financial support for educational and career technical training programs, teaching facilities, student scholarships and emergency funds.
The ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Foundation is supported by the generous and forward-thinking East County community through their donations, participation in our special events, and involvement with our award-winning academic programs and faculty. The commitment of our Sponsors and President's Roundtable members is a testament to the college’s value to businesses, industry and our community in providing educational excellence to those students entering our doors. The ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation.

Investments from corporations and individual donors have enabled the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Foundation to:
- Award over 6,000 scholarships to students.
- Assist more than 2,000 students to transfer to four-year colleges and universities.
- Facilitate over $10 million in college program grants.
- Support career technical programs in nursing, electrical engineering, law enforcement, emergency medical technology and firefighting.
- Help students learn skills that lead to jobs earning more than $80,000 per year.
- Provide emergency financial support to hundreds of low-income students struggling with basic needs including childcare, food, rent, and transportation. With these needs met, students are able to remain in school and complete their goals.

ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ (ÐÓ°É´«Ã½) Foundation finds the resources students need to succeed. We believe everyone - regardless of economic or ethnic background - should have the opportunity to pursue an excellent education. Since 1997, the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Foundation (ÐÓ°É´«Ã½F) has been connecting the resources of corporations, foundations, and individuals to students and programs at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ in need of financial support. Ultimately, successful students return these investments by strengthening our workforce and improving our communities.
Financial support is raised from corporations, foundations, individuals, and alumni. Money raised by the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½F assists key initiatives:
Student Scholarships: Provide important financial support for students in need.
HOSTS - Help Our Students To Succeed: Provides financial assistance to students that face unexpected challenges, and helps keep at-risk students on campus and completing their degrees. Faculty and Staff can refer a student by using the . (requires district login)
Department Support: Provides financial support for departments and programs including equipment, supplies, travel, professional development, and more.
The foundation’s work is essential because many of our students are from low or middle class backgrounds, often the first-generation to attend college, while many also work and raise children.
