Who are the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Associated Students (ÐÓ°É´«Ã½AS)?


ÐÓ°É´«Ã½AS is a student governed organization that works to advocate for the needs of all ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ students.

Members of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½AS are elected and appointed student representatives who organize and promote campus wide programs, protect student rights, and represent the student voice on campus shared governance committees.

    Requirements to JOIN ÐÓ°É´«Ã½AS as a Senator

    • Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better & be enrolled in 5 or more units.
    • Complete ÐÓ°É´«Ã½AS application packet.
    • Attend 2 ÐÓ°É´«Ã½AS Senate Meetings
    • Interview and be confirmed by ÐÓ°É´«Ã½AS
    • Participate in an Orientation, weekly scheduled meetings, host office hours, one (1) committee appointment, and attend ÐÓ°É´«Ã½AS Sponsored events.

Student Civic & Voter Empowerment Act (AB 963)
