ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ athlete in Women's Soccer, Michelle Lopez received statewide acknowledgment from the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) for her great work. Michelle was selected as the 2010 Scholar Female Athlete. This is the highest student achievement honor awarded annually by the CCCAA. This is the first time a student from ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ has received this award. Michelle is attending CSU Long Beach, with a major in Biology (Physiology emphasis) and a minor in Chemistry.
ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ (ÐÓ°É´«Ã½) is one of three colleges in the Contra Costa Community College District. ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ prepares students to excel and succeed economically, socially and intellectually in an innovative, engaging and supportive learning environment. ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ is located on 120 acres between Pittsburg and Antioch, with an additional education center in Brentwood.
