There are some funds available and exemplary plans may be funded using VTEA, PFE, operating funds, redevelopment funds, grants, carryover and block grant funds. There will likely not be enough money to fund all of the good programs but it is critical to plan for growth and development. The consensus was that the SGC would go forward with the planning process and would also be involved in any program reduction decisions.
