After a lengthy discussion, it was decided to clearly separate the role of the Curriculum Committee, which is to approve course outlines based on Title V requirements, from implementation issues and other considerations, which is the role of the Ӱɴý management. Motion: When the Curriculum Committee evaluates a prerequisite (and/or corequisite) for approval for a course, it will only apply the criteria listed in the Model District Policy on Prerequisites/Corequisites. If there are additional considerations or concerns that have college-wide implications, the Curriculum Committee will vote to include these in a separate implementation memo to the College President. The approved course outline will then be forwarded with the memo to the College President for review of implementation considerations and approval.
